Christi is a native Montanan who moved to Portland shortly after completing her DNP in 2019. She comes from a large family of medical professionals and aspired to become a provider at a young age. She graduated with her Biology degree from the University of Minnesota in 2009 with plans to attend medical school. In 2012, she decided to pursue a career in nursing, just as her mother had. She completed a new graduate residency program in an Intensive Care Unit upon graduation from Montana State University with her BSN in 2014. She continued to work in critical care through graduate school, with most of her experience being in the Cardiac ICU in Kalispell, Montana. She graduated with her doctoral degree in May of 2019 and has been practicing as a certified FNP since December 2019 in primary care.
Christi has a deep passion for many outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, and fly fishing. She blames her upbringing in Montana for her obsession with the outdoors and the need for exploration. She is also passionate about her career as a Nurse Practitioner and is committed to helping her patients in any way that she can. She appreciates the importance of listening to her clients and prides herself on having an excellent bedside manner. Christi believes that it is always important to treat people with kindness and respect, and is always striving to practice this in her work and personal life.
